Porsche Museum: The Flow of Legacy

The ticket is different for each visitor. A photographic record of the evolution of Porsche models—a personal souvenir from a special journey into the Porsche family.

You ascend the escalators. You enter the monolith—initially dark, mysterious.
Small openings, perfectly scaled to the structure, reveal glimpses of the factory and the car sales-receipt building.

On the escalator belt, the form of the Porsche 911 begins to take shape. The stairs are marked by a single, unique color. The staircase delivers you to the core—to the central idea.

Porsche DNA. The element that contains the genetic information that determines the biological development of all cellular life forms.

Here begins your first encounter. Your first image of the company’s DNA. The genesis of an idea—76 years ago. A single volume. Two passengers. A thought. A way of life.

The Museum as Flow

The space is a continuous flow. A meeting point of layered timelines. Two levels, intersecting, diverging, converging—each intersection a moment in history.

It begins—the race. A lineup across eras. All types of cars. You walk among them—at times beneath them—on a sloping ramp. Just before the starting line. You feel it. You are in pole position, surrounded by legends. Your tour has begun.

Every element that defines Porsche thinking is here: Speed. Weight. Power. Intelligence. Intensity. Consistency. You become a part of the Porsche family. Racing cars, prototypes, and ideas—all brought together in one fluid narrative, presented in a timeline according to their creation.

Each color in the museum is intentional. The black monolith, split along its edge, reveals a glowing recess—a moving stage that highlights the constant evolution of the Porsche model line.

One window faces the train tracks. The only true visual opening. It marks the meeting point of past and future.
Here, Porsche connects with the outside world—symbolizing evolution, collaboration, and motion.

As the journey nears its end, you pass through thematic exhibitions that focus on specific eras—each one a family within the family.

Finally, you arrive at the present. The most recent technological marvel. The final exhibit. But never the end.

The Porsche Museum is a family that loves. That shapes. That defines.

A space of constant transformation, guided by clear directional flows. A space that is never the same.
Models rotate, evolve. No photograph will ever capture the same view twice.

Because the flow never stops. And each visitor receives a unique image—A personal moment in Porsche time.
