In an existing open-plan space, the meeting and gathering area of a technology company in Palaio Faliro was designed.
With a complementary functional diagram of the lower levels, the three main sections of the space were distributed on the upper level: lounge area, meeting area, and game area. These three units are reflected in the outlines traced on the ceiling.
The enlargement of openings, the placement of window frames, and the double-sided fireplace connect the interior with the exterior space—an area that showcases the natural stream and the greenery of the surroundings. With views toward Mount Hymettus, the outdoor seating areas frame the dynamics of gatherings with a sense of freedom.
